Welcome to Gifting Day: An Experiment

Things go suddenly soft when, on the very same night, the Veil thins on Samhain Eve and Hermes, the bright guide, opens the Door and draws us backward on our journey. For just that night - tonight -  the worlds we experience as two become one: Inner and outer, upper and lower, light and dark, conscious and unconscious, life and beyond-life. 

Who is called to come? 

Who will hear the call? 

And who will heed it? 

If we do come, what must come with us? And what must be left behind?

This is a fertile time for an experiment, and I am happy to share this with you.

A while back during an astonishing outpouring of metaphysical writing that went on unabated for months, a story emerged in an instant - complete with its title - Gifting Day; its opening lines; and its final lines. 

I've never understood, nor doubted, where Gifting Day came from. Over time I realized Gifting Day is nothing more and nothing less than the deepest truth of Life, the lived human/spiritual experience, as I choose to understand and practice living it.
